A new start to the year, bit late granted, but I decided to sack off Facebook and resurrect my Blogger account. I have actually sacked off Facebook many times but pathetically always crawled back under some strange illusion that I can use it to raise awareness. This time however its for good as I seem to be losing the battle in raising awareness of children living in poverty to someone who just had a cheese sandwich. On a side note I am just as guilty as anyone else for ignoring things, important things, people post on Facebook. At least here however I can talk to the wall without feeling like I will self-combust.
So moaning aside, this will be my own personal blog hopefully detailing and raising awareness to issues here in Romania, the highs and lows of my trip and various other assortments of words/pictures/film. These words and thoughts though are my own and may not reflect the views expressed by any of the foundations I work with.
Anyway now I am off to have a cheese sandwich.
Cheese sandwiches although good are often over-rated....
